instagram event flyer: A design for the Night You Ask People to Show Up
Bring Your People to the Polls Event Flyer
Most of the templates in this library are built for a feed, something to scroll past and maybe share. This one has a different job: it's the flyer for the night you're asking people to physically show up, a kickoff rally, a workshop, a launch event. It works as a social post, a printed flyer, or both.
What's in the template
The design leans on bold color blocking and a megaphone graphic to do the heavy lifting visually, loud, easy to read at a glance, and just as legible as a printed handout on a table as it is as an Instagram post.
Structurally, it's simple: your campaign header, an event type, a short description of what the event includes, who's hosting it, and the when and where.
How to customize it
Event type, swapped in for "Event Type" pick whatever matches what you're actually running.
Description, a sentence or two on what people can expect, stories, a workshop, a concrete plan, whatever's true for your event.
Host organizations. Don't be shy about listing more than one. This template is built to hold a coalition, Goshen's version lists three co-hosting groups. Listing every partner organization by name signals real local reach, and it gives each group's own followers a reason to recognize the event as theirs too. Make sure to invite them to “collaborate” when you post, so that the flyer hits their followers’ feeds, too.
Date, time, and venue, filled in last, and worth double-checking against your actual booking before this goes anywhere.
How Goshen used it
Their kickoff event: Bring Your People to the Polls Kickoff Rally, October 5, 6:30 PM, at the Goshen Theater, an evening of stories, a hands-on workshop, and a real plan to get people to the polls, co-hosted by the Goshen City Democrats, Elkhart County Indivisible, and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Elkhart. Three different organizations, three different follower bases, one shared event.
